Laboratory Supervisor.

The Laboratory Supervisor reports into the Quality Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating the daily operations in Quality area and the interactions of this group with other Business units  and other departments.

The main responsibilities of the Laboratory Supervisor are as follows:

Co-ordination of area resources.

Supervisor of area personnel.

Training of area personnel.

Participation in corporate/reg audits.

Delivery of area performance to meet or exceed performance or quality goals.

Contribute to site management operational and strategic initiatives.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and cGMP and other business compliance regulations.

Liasing with external vendors.

Ensure a Right-first-time approach within the lab functions.

For the position of Laboratory Supervisor the right candidate will have some years experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Supervisory experience is desirable.

For the position of Laboratory Supervisor a third level qualification in a scientific discipline is required.
