Role & Responsibility:
As a Manager you will:
Be responsible for managing multiple audits, accounting and other assignments. There are opportunities to be involved in the management of the practice and in business development activities.
Recognise potential audit issues or unusual relationships from basic analysis of the financial statements and communicate them to the team. Clearly and accurately document the execution of specific audit procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, client?s engagement history, and planned audit approach. Challenge procedures used in the past and attempt to enhance audit techniques
Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client?s environment. Maintain a strong client focus, be responsive to client requests, and develop, maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.
Participate in the management of the Audit engagement.
Develop people through teamwork, integrity, and leadership. Work with team members to set goals and responsibilities. Proactively contribute ideas/opinions to the audit teams and listen/respond to other team members views.
Coach staff in developing and achieving performance goals and objectives. Assess performance of staff for engagement and year-end reviews.
Interact with partners and staff to facilitate the integration of practice development skills and a team approach to client service, practice support and business development, for example recruitment activity. Maintain strong client relations and cross-sell services within the assigned group of clients.
Skills & Experience
Excellent commercial, management and organisational skills
- Qualified Accountant ? e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA qualified
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience
- Ability and willingness to work primarily on challenging and complex projects
- Excellent commercial, management and organisational skills
- Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) & US GAAP preferable but not required
- Big 4' background preferable but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
