LIfe Operations Manager

Job Description

Reporting to the head of the Life Business your role will be to manage a small specialist team who main focus is client services, product development and product launches.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction, leadership and oversight of the customer facing operations of the Life Company including Customer Services, Literature Production Function & Third Party Administration Providers
  
• To work as part of the senior management team in developing and achieving business objectives
  
• Ensure individual and business customers receive an excellent service throughout their relationship
  
• Manage and maintain high quality effective relationships with Third Party Administrators
  
• Lead the Operations function of the Life company and establish best practice across this function

Skills/Experience

• Comprehensive track record of experience, knowledge and practice in the Life Assurance Industry specifically with exposure to International Life market.
  
• Proven management experience of back office administration systems/in a customer facing role
  
• Demonstrated Team Leadership skills.
  
• Sound knowledge of regulatory environment governing cross border Life Insurance Industry.
  
• Detailed knowledge of life company operations : product design, administration of unit linked life products and marketing and sales processes.
