The objective of the Exchange Messenger Analyst is to resolve remote users IT problems by means of a Remote fix. The Exchange Messenger Analyst responds to both internal and external clients needing technical support.


Main Responsibilities:



" Resolves customer issues using the tools and systems available


" Completes follow-on actions as appropriate, e.g. dispatch materials, send communications, escalate problems.


" Retains ownership of each case until problem is resolved or resolution is identified


" Observes strict compliance to licensing, copyright and trademark legislation


" Protects confidential, sensitive information and materials


" Accomplishes other duties as required



Requirements




o Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2000 & 2003 Server (Enterprise & Standard editions)


o Excellent knowledge of Outlook


o Excellent knowledge of Outlook Web Access


o Good understanding of the Microsoft Operating Systems





Desirable



o Small Business Server 2000/2003


o Exchange 5.5


o Clustering of Exchange


o Internet Information Services


o ActiveSync / OMA






Experience



A minimum of 3-4 years experience in IT, remote support experience is preferable.




Languages



Ability to work in a predominantly English speaking environment.


Fluency in German is also a requirement.
