freelance Accounts Payable Administrator

Our client is a highly recognised professional organisation. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their business.




Job Description



The Accounts Payable role will initially be a 6 month contract with a very strong view to permanency. Based in North Tipperary, the role will be to provide support to the Finance Department as a whole.




Roles/Responsibilities



The main duties of this Accounts Payable position are:



  • Process high volumes of purchase invoices
  • Monthly reconciliations
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Maintain general ledgers
  • Reporting
  • Ad hoc duties



Skills/Experience



To be considered for this Accounts Payable position you must possess the following:



  • 2-3 years experience in Accounts Payable / General Accounts position
  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
  • Previous high level of experience with Microsoft Excel



Personal Attributes



The ideal candidate for this Accounts payable position will possess excellent attention to detail. You will be self motivated and enjoy working as part of a team. You will be able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
