Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt Facilitator

Six Sigma/Lean Black Belt Facilitator required for our Cork based client.
Job Description:
To lead and/or facilitate implementation of continuous improvement projects across site in the following areas linked directly to the site strategy.
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Reducing cost through simplifying & improving work processes, reducing variation & eliminating waste.
- Improving Safety, Health & Environmental performance.
- Improving performance in Customer Service.
- Improving Site Quality Performance.
- Reducing inventory and manufacturing cycle times.
- Implementation of lean tools in manufacturing and support areas.
- Facilitate project team meetings to review actions to-date and complete actions assigned.
- Define and implement improved processes with appropriate business metrics.
- Facilitate Site Improvement Projects, to simplify and improve processes, reduce variation & eliminate waste using lean manufacturing tools.
- Coach individuals as project sponsors, team leaders and facilitators.
- Lead loss analysis activities within key departments using value stream mapping and other lean tools as appropriate.
Skills/Experience:
- Black Belt Qualification is essential.
- Proven experience in the implementation of Lean tools in a process/manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated capability in managing cross-functional teams to deliver on an objective.
- Strong Communication & Motivational skills.
- Capacity and capability to train colleagues on relevant tools and methodologies.
- Strong influencer of colleagues.
