Production Supervisor - Science Degree

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR: PERMANENT
Essential Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
Worked for min of 5yrs in a managerial position in a process environment, preferably unionised.
Worked in a sterile filling aseptic environment.
Have a science degree, ideally in microbiology.
Have strong people managment experience and demonstrated expertise in handling complex situtations.
Must have the flexibility of working on a 3 cycle shift.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility and accountability for the Production/Function area.
Display leadership and guidance to the production team and promote and implement company systems and initiatives.
Enhance the necessary skills of the business unit team to meet their objectives through focused training, development plans and succession planning.
Ensure all productions activities are documented as required.
Ensure compliance with cGMP and other business regulations.
Monitor performance to metrics, manage resources and prioritise to achieve targets.
Assist in the development and transfer of new processes.
Prepare budgets and control expenditure to operating plan.
