SENIOR BUYER/PLANNER

Reporting to the Supply Chain Supervisor, the Senior Planner will drive all company priorities in Manufacturing, Sales, Product development and introduction, pre-production trials and prototypes. It will be the basis for the single set of demand numbers to be used company wide, resulting in the generation of an achievable and realistic master production Schedule. This encompasses material and capacity availability to satisfy customer demand and internal requirements. He/She will co-ordinate the planning of materials on end of life projects as well as new quotes for business.
Requirements
· 10 years experience minimum required in a Planning / Purchasing role within the Electronics Industry is essential
· Applicable Third level qualification required, OR full qualification to APICS/CPIM/SCM or IIPMM. Candidates currently pursuing a qualification will be considered.
· Proficiency required in Excel, MRP, Word, PowerPoint, E-Mail. Mfg Pro and Web plan experience would be a distinct advantage.
