Internal Auditor

Job Description

Our client are currently looking to source an Internal Auditor to join their business. Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you will have a wide range of responsibilities. The role will be responsible for providing audit assurance on internal controls in line with the Company's policies.

Roles/Responsibilities

Some of the main responsibilities of the Internal Auditor role include:

• Planning, execution and completion of reviews of financial and operational processes
  
• Applying your understanding of best accounting practices & internal auditing techniques
  
• Liasion with senior management
  
• Identifying & assessing risks to the business
  
• Preparaion of reports and continuious review of reporting processes
  
• Ad hoc duties where required.

Skills/Experience

To be considered for this role, you must be coming from an audit background. You will have an excellent understanding of the audit process across a variety of industries. You will have first class skills in report writing, communication and the ability to think analytically.

Education / Professional Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this Internal Auditor role will have the following:

• Qualified Accountant (ideally from a Big 4 company - will also consider Top 10)
  
• Excellent academic record including first time passes for professional exams and minimum of 2.1 degree.

Personal Attributes

You will be a motivated, self starter who enjoys the audit process. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and relationship mangement. You will bring a huge amount of energy and skill to the role and will be target driven to deliver results.
