Job Description
This role will sit between the Italian distribution partners, policyholders and outsourcers and will primarily be project based for the period prior to product launch in Italy and for a short period thereafter. This vacancy would ideally suit someone at team leader level or with the potential to become a team leader. It is envisaged that the team will grow and that the successful candidate will lead the team.
Roles/Responsibilities
Reporting to the Distribution Team Manager, with dotted line reporting to the CEO/CFO, you will play an important role in the project roll out, documenting procedures, agreeing SLAs with our distributors, research on processes (possibly product and other activities), travelling to Italy to represent us (this will be an important aspect of the job), etc. The successful candidate will also be responsible for some admin. duties when we go live such as inputting new business data
Skills/Experience
Ideally you should be a native Italian speaker with fluent English and have four years + experience of working in a Customer facing capacity in Financial Services (preferably in the Life and Pensions industry). Additionally you should have exceptional verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English and the ability to listen, discern and inquire. Demonstrable experience of working to tight deadlines and of taking ownership of queries and issues and closing them out to the satisfaction of internal and external customers. Previous experience of the contractual documents required to sell new life and pensions products into Italy would be particularly desireable with specific experience of dealing with either ISVAP or Consob ideal.
Education / Professional Qualifications
Educated to either diploma or degree standard.
