Job Description
Reporting to the Managing Director/Group Operations Manager, this role will be externally based and will be at the coalface of Business Development within the General Insurance market.
Roles/Responsibilities
Leveraging off an existing client base, this role will see you predominantly out in the field prospecting, sourcing and developing client leads into sales of covers. You will offer a full suite of Commercial Insurance products to your clients and be in position to incept all covers as appropriate in consultation with the management team in head office.
Skills/Experience
For this role you must have a proven track record in Business Development within an Insurance Brokerage, ideally with your own book of clients (advantageoous but not essential) but above all a tenacious, "go getter" attitude when it comes to sales.
Education / Professional Qualifications
Minimum CIP qualified, you should either be academically qualified or grandfathered.
Personal Attributes
A skilled negotiator when it comes to sales, you should be confident, outgoing with excellent communication and organisational skills.
