Strategic Sourcing Manager (Construction exp) required for leading Irish multinational.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide Procurement support to Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and Construction groups.
  
• Support Engineering and Construction managers in procurement, planning, client management and supplier performance management.
  
• Review financial evaluation of all proposals, negotiations and contractual agreements.
  
• Provide strategic support to Construction and Engineering Managers in developing and implementing Supplier Relationship Management strategy.
  
• Manage the tender and negotiation process.


• Identify procurement legal and compliance issues and ensuring company complies with all procurement related laws.

Education & Requirements:

• Degree qualification in Engineering/Business.
  
• Previous experience in construction and civil engineering industry is essentialHigh level commercial awareness with a sound knowledge of sourcing methodologies and supplier management techniques.
  
• Strong commercial awareness, with a good understanding of procurement and supplier management techniques.
  
• Strong business acumen.
  
• Proven experience in project management of high level projects and the abilitiy to lead and support several concurrent projects and develop strong relationships with cross functional teams.
