Our Client are one of the leading financial services companies in the world. With operations in many European countries, they are currently looking to recruit a senior level position within their South East offices.




Job Description


This Vice President position is a senior role within the organisation and will involve taking a lead role in the management and strategic development of the Transfer Agency department. You will take full responsibility for the department.



Roles/Responsibilities



The range of responsibiilities for this role are all encompassing but will focus on:



  • Providing leadership to ensure all targets and objectives of the department are met.
  • Management and development of client relationships - including complex or unusual operational and managerial problems.
  • Head count management - ensuring that the department is properly resourced at all times. Focusing on people management, performance appraisals and HR to ensure that the department can do it's job.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and ensuring that all procedures are in place to ensure same.
  • Work closely with other senior members of the company in relation to TA operations.





Skills/Experience



To be considered for the Transfer Agency VP role you will need the following:



  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial position with a high number of direct reports.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience within a similiar department / environment.
  • Excellent operational knowledge of a Transfer Agency department as well as a keen understanding of all other departments within the business
  • Stong understanding of the Financial Services market in general



Education / Professional Qualifications



The minimum entry educational requirement for this position is a degree in a business related discipline. However, experience in the required area's will also be considered in lieu of a qualification.
