Quality Engineer

Our Client is a major multinational healthcare and medical devices organisation based in South Dublin. On their behalf we are searching for a Quality Engineer to provide guidance on all aspects of quality and quality engineering within a cross-functional team thus ensuring customer satisfaction and reduction of scrap.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervision of deviations, non conformances, reworks, CAPA, complaints, scrap and change requests within your product group.
- Conduct process and GMP audits.
- Provide guidance on regulatory requirements to ensure product supply is maintained and all quality aspects are met.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills / Experience:
The ideal candidate should demonstrate a logical and planned approach to all tasks.
- Excellent written, oral and communication skills
- Be a team player and have high personal confidence, ability to liaise with other business divisions
- The ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Be customer focused
Have a high attention to detail - To be flexible and willing to carry out overtime as necessary when required
- Be conscious of Health & Safety requirements at all times
- Understand the business responsibilities of their role
Education / Professional Qualifications:
Graduate in a science, engineering or related background
Experience of working within a recognised quality system
A working knowledge of regulatory requirements
A high degree of computer literacy
A technical background or knowledge of IVD products would be advantageous
Experience of internal & external audits
Awareness of statistical techniques and validation would be advantageous
