Banking Business Project Manager Contract

Excellent new strategic Project Management opportunity for an experienced business focused Project Manager with a retail banking or commercial banking background. This is a full project life cycle contract from business case definition through planning; stake holder management; issue resolution; documentation and delivery.

You should be a proactive and hands-on project manager who is used to dealing with problems and getting involved at all levels.

This is initially a 6 month contract with high potential for extensions.

Role / opportunity:

· Business focused Project Manager

· Retail banking /commercial banking environment

· Ownership of full project life cycle: defining business cases; planning; stake holder management; delivery

· Delivering a long term strategic initiative

· Managing business and IT teams as necessary

· 6 month contract initially

Skills / experience:

· 8+ years commercial experience

· 5+ years business Project Management experience

· Commercial banking or retail banking business background

· Strong on business case definition

· Full project life cycle management

· Project Management certification is a bonus (Prince or PMP)
