Facilities Manager

My client is a leading FM provider currently seeking an experienced Facilities / Technical Services Manager for a Dublin City Centre based site.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage projects involving refurbishment, mechanical & electrical installations.
• Responsible for coordinating and costing of office moves and layouts changes.
• Upgrade layouts and drawings on CAD as required.
• Proving timely reports to the Client & Key Account Manager that will ensure they are updated on all projects and office moves on site. 
• Managing maintenance and service contacts
• Monitoring all PPM and Reactive work that may impact with the clients business
• Ensure that all contracts are in place with the subcontractors. This to include and appropriate SLA and Contract Summary Agreement
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and clients procedures
• Implementation of standard operating procedures

Person Specification

• Excellent customer service skills
• Highly motivated
• Excellent communication skills
• Technical/professional knowledge
• People management experience

Qualifications & Experience

• Excellent understanding of mechanical and electrical building engineering services, their design, operation and maintenance.
• Good Knowledge of CAD
• Project Management experience
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
• 3^rd Level Qualification in Facilities management an advantage.

Suitable candidates will come from a technical trade background (essential) before moving into a management position where they have gained experience managing technicians and external contractors.
