full time Financial Accountant - Dublin

A vacancy has arisen for a Financial Accountant within the finance department of a German multiational. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will play a major role in delivering high quality financial information to the finance department and management. This role will provide the successful candidate with unique exposure to the financial operations of the Irish Branch.


Key Responsibilities



  • Producing monthly management accounts under both IAS & German GAAP

  • Producing monthly reporting (budgets/forecast) for headquarters

  • Producing Revenue returns

  • The AP/AR function and the daily operational accounting

  • Treasury Back-Office

  • Prepare yearly planning rounds

  • Regulatory reporting

  • Co-ordinate both Internal & External annual audits

  • Other projects and duties that may arise

Key Role-Specific Requirements / Skills



  • Hold a recognised accounting qualification

  • Previous SAP experience required

  • Knowledge of IAS

  • Customer focused with a commitment to deliver a high quality service

  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills

  • Highly accurate without compromising delivery commitments

  • Team player, proactive and able to work on own initiative

  • German language skills a definite advantage
