Accounts Asst / Accounting Technician

Our client, a leading Financial Services company requires a qualified Accounting Technician (or equivalent experience) to join their Accounts Department as soon as possible. This a full time permanent position to begin immediately. The ideal candidate will preferably have knowledge of Oracle Financials (though not essential) with strong Excel and have the ability to work both within a team and on their own initiative to deadlines. A good communicator with strong interpersonal skills is required and one capable of improving on current practices.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a company which has a world-wide presence, and is to begin ASAP.
The role will involve:
* Entering and uplodading journals to the GL
* High volume bank reconciliations
* Investigating unallocated items
* Uploading statement and cashbook items
