Process Engineer

My client is Dublin based medical devices company currently seeking an experienced Process Engineer. The Process Engineer is responsible for and involved in troubleshooting, maintenance and continuous improvement of the production process and equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

?         Identify improvement opportunities within manufacturing processes.

?         Measure and control results through analysis and continuously seeks to improve performance.

?         Monitoring equipment performance through working with production.

?         Manage projects as required.

?         Develop and implement a comprehensive PM programme.

?         Validation of new processes, equipment upgrades and new product introduction.

?         Liaise closely with the Senior Process Engineer.

?         Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives as appropriate

REQUIREMENTS:

?         Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering

?         5 years+ experience in a similar role

?         Excellent communication skills.

?         Familiarity with equipment validation, GMP?s and compliance in an FDA environment.

?         Previous experience in the use of ?black belt? statistical techniques would be an advantage.

?         Knowledge of PLC?s, Vision Systems, High Speed Assembly and Packaging operation would be advantageous.
